A trough of low pressure lies to the north of Southern Cooks. Meanwhile, an east to southeast wind flow prevails over the group.

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects Northern Cooks.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:

Over waters: Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots.

Over land areas: Moderate to fresh east to southeast winds, gusty at times.

Rough seas.

Moderate southerly swells.

Cloudy periods with some showers.
