A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR SOUTHERN COOK WATERS.

Situation:
A moist easterly wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks. Meanwhile, a
trough of low pressure is expected to affect parts of the group.

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects
Northern Cooks.


Forecast to midnight tonight for the Southern Cooks:
Over waters: Fresh to Strong easterly winds 15 to 20 knots, gusting
to 25 knots.
Over land areas: Moderate to fresh easterly winds, gusty at times.
Rough seas.

Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over most
places.

Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

For Rarotonga:
Fine apart from brief showers.
Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

For the Northern Cooks:
Occasional showers, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
Moderate to fresh northeast to east winds.
Moderate to rough seas.
