Situation:

An easterly wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks.

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a moist easterly wind flow prevails over the country.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:

Over waters: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.

Over land areas: Easterly winds 15 to 20 knots.

Rough seas.

Fine apart from brief showers.
