Situation:
An easterly wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks.
A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects
Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a northeasterly wind flow prevails over
the country.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:
Over waters: Easterly winds 20 to 25 knots.
Over land : Moderate to fresh easterly winds, gusty at times.
Rough seas.
Fine apart from brief showers.
Further outlook: Fine apart from brief showers.
For Rarotonga:
Fine apart from brief showers.
Further outlook: Fine apart from brief showers.
For the Northern Cooks:
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over the
western parts [Pukapuka]. Elsewhere, Occasional showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
