Situation:

A southeasterly wind flow prevails over Southern Cooks. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is expected to affect the group from tomorrow.

An easterly wind flow prevails over Northern Cooks. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure lies in the vicinity of the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:

Over waters: Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Strong winds 20 to 25

knots developing from later tomorrow.

Over land areas: Moderate to fresh southeast winds.

Moderate to rough seas. Seas becoming rough from later tomorrow.

Moderate southerly swells developing from tomorrow.

Cloudy periods with brief showers today.
